Banded 2/22/2011

Hello everyone,

I was banded at Eglin AFB in FL by Dr. Michel on 2/22/2011. My insurance, TriCare covered the entire procedure. My surgical experience was great, no problems. My starting weight is 245 lbs and I'm hoping to loose 100 lbs. I'm so thankful to have this procedure after years of yo-yo dieting. I have sleep apnea and headed towards diabeties. Right now, I feel like crap...bloating and nausea....glad to have read this is short term. This web site has been very helpful. I've also joined a local support group which meets once a month. Looking forward to blogging with you all.
