I have had a fun experience I would like to share. It started by seeing a Bento Box on a WLS blog. A bento box is a kind of Japanese traditional lunch box, The one I ordered is a modern makeover, dishwasher safe and microwavable. You can see it here food and it is better thought out. Some of the things I have brought-a tomato, a hardboiled egg, refried Beans, bits of cheese and crackers, carrots, half a sweet potato, prunes, grapes and almost always a tablespoon of light blue cheese dressing. Another benefit is that I think before I move to the next box-Sometimes I forget to ask myself-Gee, am I really hungry?-and this seems to help to remind me.
It has worked so well that I think I will pack another box after work for the second part of the day. Maybe it is the novelty, but it is working! I really plan my shopping and meals better since I tried this. Let me know if you have any questions.
