Pre-Op Tests

Hi Everyone,

I'm considering getting the Lap Band. I'm VERY nervous at the thought but know I would benefit from it. I've read on here that some people have had to get an EGD done. I would love to hear from you guys whether or not you've had to have this test. I'm just so nervous about this whole thing and need some comfort!

Thanks,

Jennifer

I was so nervous when I went for this procedure. Let me tell you, you have nothing to worry about. Once I had the anesthesia I was out...I had a nice sleep. I woke up fine and I don't have any problems with side effects of anesthesia. It was a piece of cake. I had a slight soew throat the next but I didn't even cough drops. I had a great doctor. Good luck

EGD was simple. The give you some good medicine. Sore throat afterwards but Iwas back at work the next morning.
