I'm trying to find out which option is better for financing the portion that is not covered by my insurance,I have Blue Cross Blue Shield,Northern Virginia. The coordinator told me that the doctor needs $5000, deposit to put me on the preoperative list and schedule the surgery. A friend of mine has also BCBS, but with different, options and they wanted from her a deposit of only $2000. She had the surgery 9 months ago and is super happy, with the doctor,everything. But for me having to come up with an extra $3000, it too much. My question is if someone has use this financing options Blis pay or Care credit,which is better and faster,and offers the best interest rate. Thanks.

I used Health One. Your interest rate will depend on your credit score. I have a very high score and several places told me the very best rate with an unsecured loan like this would be 10%, but that was 1 1/2 years ago.

If you already have a lower rate on a credit card you might want to use that.

Thanks for your response, they offer those two options i am a stay home mom and don't have any income,my husband does.I need the money to pay for the deposit,the coordinator said that the doctor required $5000,down I have BCBS in Virginia, my friend that already had the surgery only had to deposited, $2000,she also has BCBS, once I get approved by this loan, is this money would apply to the deposit only or to pay for my coinsurance as well,and nutritionist. Sorry, I can't help you out with that stuff. I have no insurance. I paid cash up-front with the card I got from HealthOne.

I had no pre-op hoops to jump through and no pre-op testing.

Your just going to have to call each company or apply online individually. Your rate is going to depend on your credit score.
