Sleepless nights before surgery

So my surgery date is on the 14th and I notice last night I just can't sleep  . I'm really trying to ease my mind, but the closer it gets to friday I'm just tossing and turning in bed all night while my husband is dreaming away. I feel so restless and really want to be as well rested as I can before surgery since it seem like some people struggle with sleep after being band... Ugh so annoyed and a little worried that tonight will be worse or the same... Anyone had this problem???

I'm sure I will as it gets closer. Can you take a benedryl? Even just one knocks me out.
