having a cold and surgery

So I suppose to be banded on monday but of course with the luck I have I caught my husbands cold two days ago. Its a bad one too. Coughing my lungs out and sweats but no fever. Question is should I still go to the hospital on monday to be banded or call my surgical coordinator and let her know that I have a cold?

you need to call, they will post pone the surgery if you go in there sick anyway

I think you might need to call the doc and see what they say; they may need to delay surgery. If they do a CBC on you and see your white blood cells are elevated from being sick, they'd probably delay anyway. Good luck either way, and I hope you feel better.
