Dec 29 band date

Oh my gosh, I thought I would never get to post my surgery date. But finally!!!! Two weeks from now I finally get banded. Oh, I'm so excited (and scared and nervous). I cleaned out my cabinets today (because I'll be on vacation for a week before the surgery).

I have to dust off my books from class. I don't know what to pack the cabinets and fridge with.

Congratulations! I'm super excited for you. Good luck.

Congratulations! A new year and a new you. How exciting! Don't be nervous, it's not a difficult surgery to go through and the recovery is easy. Most people just complain about gas pain which can be minimized with some gentle walking and gas-x. Don't worry, be happy! Do be ready to be patient though, a lifestyle change doesn't come easily and losing 1-2 pounds a week can seem sooo slow. It's a good rate though and it mounts up! Your band will keep you from backsliding and binging and by next New Years Eve, you'll be in a little black dress!

Good luck on your journey!

Thank you so much. Your stats are awesome!

I get banded on the 27th. I'm sooooo nervous and scared too!!! I had to undergo some extra medial tests... and then all of a sudden all the test came back OK. I just the call about being banded this past Friday. I just was expecting it all to happen so fast. I sorta had my mind set on being disappointed and have to wait til Jan or Feb. Surprise Surprise and a Very Merry Christmas present!!!! Starting my clear liquid pre-op diet tomorrow. I'm nervous about that too. I just have to wrap my brain around this whole thing ~ quickly!!!.

Good Luck on the 29th!!! I'll be checking to see how you did here on the blog! :-)

I'm sure we're both going to bring in the New Year with JOY and HOPE!!!!
