My name is Rick. I'm still in the process of getting banded. I have had two visits/meetings and have two on WED. One with the dietitian and one with the surgeon. I guess next will be the psych eval. I am 55 and right now my weight is 300lbs. My BMI is 52 and I have 4 co-morbidity's. I have battled weight all my life and need to do something about it NOW! I'm excited about the prospect of changing my health and feel good again! I'm a minister, its hard to try and help others when you feel like your life is over. I know up front from reading posts from this site and others that the band is only a tool. I still have to do the work. I hope they give me surgery date soon! Looking forward to starting this journey!
