1st fill during surgery?

I was banded 11-11-10. The surgeon decided to place 4cc in my band during surgery. He indicated that my stomache was very small and he was having trouble keeping the band in the right spot.

Is this normal, has anyone else had a fill in their band during surgery?

Yep. Not unusual at all. I came out of surgery with approx. 3cc's in mine. Just consider it a head start. :)

Thank you Melissannd, I appreciate your post. I was a bit fearful of the surgery and then to have the Dr tell me that, I just wasn't sure how to think about the fill.

Great point, with the head start!! Thanks again.
