Heartburn

I had a 1cc fill 8 days ago, and since then I have had horrendous heart burn, uncontrollabe sliming, a sinus infection (family doc gave me spray & antiobiotics) and a headache from hell from the sliming/vomiting.

Now I feel like somebody is stabbing me under my shoulder blades . I was banded a little over a year ago and NEVER had any of these problems..

Anybody else have this happen???

I have tried Mylanta, Gaviscon and GasX-- NO RELIEF.

BTW-- I am still on liquids after 8 days .. I don't want to drive 7 hours (one way) for an unfill only to find out all of this is caused by the sinus infection.. My family doctor is totally uninformed on banding .. Very Scary!!

Hi,

I am new to all this, as having only been banded two weeks ago.

However, my surgeon and her staff have always said, if you have heartburn like you describe....to call because it is not the way it should be.....it sounds, from what I have read here, that you may need an unfill.
