Hi- I'm in the SW suburbs of Chicago. I had my surgery done at Bolingbrook Hospital. Where are you planning on having your surgery? I'm 6 weeks out and had my first fill today. So far I'm down 29lbs. I'm thrilled with my decision.

Best of luck!

I had mine done in Oakbrook with Brad Watkins.. Best decision I have ever made. Im down over 40lbs since July. I had surgery at end of August. Ive had about 4 fills and feel awesome right now at 8.5 cc. I get full fast and stay full for a long time. somewhere around 4-5 hours. :(.

I live in the near west suburbs and was banded 4/15. No regrets and down 80 pounds from my high pre-op diet weight. Dr. Fred Tiesenga did my surgery.

I had my banding done by Brian Lahmann at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet 10 months ago. I'm down just over 90 pounds, and couldn't be happier with the decision, or my band.

I'm a Chicago girl!! I was banded 9-1. I just had my second fill 3 days ago. They measured me, I am down 20.5 inches since surgery!!! 81 pounds since starting my journey in January. I feel amazing!! :(

Hi Irene, I am having surgery on Dec 20th with Dr. Watkins too! I hope this is the best decision I have ever made too  How are you doing?

Hey there, I'm a Chicago South Suburban gal  I will be banded on November 29th at Rush Univ Med Center. Dr. Myers is my surgeon. The journey has been about a year so far and have learned so much and am ready for this! Good luck to you!
