SO FAR SO GOOD 2 Weeks Post-Op

Hi, everyone! Had my surgery on Oct. 22. The surgery went fine and I wasn't too sore afterwards. The trapped CO2 gas is a dealbreaker! OMG! The gas pain was worse than the surgery itself . Two weeks out, no more gas pain, surgery on Friday and was back to work by Tuesday, walking about a mile a day (slow pace for now), can't wait to begin pureed food next week . So far so good. Looking forward to taking this journey with you all!

I'm glad you're feeling better! I've heard so much about that gas pain. I was telling my kids about this yesterday, and they said, so, you're going to fart alot? I said no, I don't think it comes out that way...they said, then you're going to burp a lot? I said I didn't think I'd do that either! Does it basically just have to break down inside you?
