2 weeks post-opt need help please

Hey guys,

It has been about two weeks since I had my lb. I was feeling full and loved it but now I am soo hungry all of a sudden. Is this normal. I've been doing good losing about a lb a day. It is really hard today though all I want to do is eat. Any reccommendations? I have been sticking with the post opt diet strictly which is really hard b/c I can't stand tuna, so my main source of protein is beans. Also can anyone reccommend a good protein drink I can get a wal-mart-that is low calorie.

What about chicken, Tofu, yougurt, cheese, hard boiled eggs? I at all of these post op and I had only two episodes of crazy hungriness.

I was very nauseated the first week after surgery, then after that passed, I was RAVENOUS! Until you get a couple of fills and have proper restriction, it is difficult. Search this forum for "bandster hell" and you will read all about it.

I really like "Pure Protein" chocolate Protein shakes. I don't think Wally World carries it, but it is available online.

Good luck to you!

It's very normal. Here on the forums it's called bandster hell.

Until you start getting your fills and get restriction you appetite will be almost the same as it was before the surgery.

You've just gotta hang in there for now and do the best you can to continue eating healthly.
