Day 3 Post-op

I'm feeling great. Still have some gas pains, but not nearly as bad as Friday/Saturday. Using a heat pad, really helped with the gas pains. I have a follow-up appointment with my surgeon this afternoon and then I can start on my Protein shakes, which I'm really looking forward to.

The incisions are not as sore as I thought they would be. A friend of mine that had the surgery a few months ago made me so worried about the pain, but it hasn't been bad at all. I think a lot of it is frame of mind too. My reasons for having the surgery is to be healthier and if that means being sore for a few days/a few weeks, I'm fine with that. I know that any discomfort will pass and I'll come out of this a healthier person.

I hope everyone banded is feeling good and to those waiting Good Luck!!
