Okay ladies lets talk clothes

I need some new ones both tops and jeans.

Where do you ladies shop at? Most of what I find lately are tops that are so thin and sheer they show every little fat roll I have and then jeans that are so stretchy that they fit perfect for the first hour and then after that they are saggy, baggy and falling off of me.

Any tips on where to find some good thick shirts and some jeans with little to no stretch in them?

Old Navy has their jeans for $16 a pair - I am in an 18 in theirs when I wear a 20 in Lane Bryant - their jeans run big.

Here is the link for those:

Then Walmart has tees that fit well in Danskin. They run small (I wear between a 14-16 in the top). I had to buy a 3X in this tee for it to fit correctly, but it looks good and is cheap!

Also Old Navy's cardigans run big - I have been wearing the XL in size and it fits great.

I missed what size you were at, but if you are in the size 20 range, definitely check out Old Navy.

There is a new plus size resale shop in Tyler. Maybe you could bring some of your too big stuff and get some just right stuff.

Where is it and what is the name?

I started a Clothes Exchange community on LiveJournal but it's been a bit of a bust so far to be honest.

I like shopping clearance at Macy's and Belk's, and I absolutely don't allow myself to buy anything that fits perfectly right now-- it has to fit, but it has to be something I can wear for a while as I lose.

I also shop at Ross and TJ Maxx a lot for good prices on clothes. TJ Maxx tends to have better quality clothes than Ross.

I LOVE Belk but I can get into trouble there easily:) The other day for example I found a shirt I really liked but it was $36 and it was just a cotton shirt.

I actually have some of those shirts from Wal Mart and you are right they run small but they fit good. I'm going to Old Navy today after my fill appointment to check their clearance racks.
