I just was banded Aug 13th, 2010...........and have just found out I'm pregnant. I'm freaking out..... Soo soon!! I also have incompetent cervix... So that's scaring me to death as well........ Just needed to share w/people as I sit in OBGYN's office in disbelief..........!

First, CONGRATULATIONS on the pregnancy. Thats wonderful. Just think, at least right after you have the baby, you can get a fill and start losing weight fast, and have a new life in your arms!

As far as being scared, thats probably normal but have faith! And talk about your concerns with the doctor, Im sure they are confindent that you will have nothing to be scared about.

You just made me cry...thanks for the congratulations! My doc was amazing~ you're right. Very positive, and proactive. We have a plan in place already and another appt tomorrow. Whew~ what a day!

Congrats!! Glad you and your dr have a good plan! Once baby is here you can start getting your band filled and get to losing the weight.
