Bandster Hell after 6 days?!

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I just had my surgery on 9.29. I started feeling incredibly hungry Friday night and it hasn't really stopped. I'll eat my 1/4 C. and I'm starving 20 mins later!! My doc told me to go ahead and proceed to soft foods. I'm seeing him Friday for my post-op appt and he said I had to be on soft foods if I wanted to get a fill Friday. I started back to work this week, so the constant hunger is really messing with my concentration there. Am I doing something wrong?? I'm worried that it started to soon. I'm only eating 1/4 C three times a day, even though I feel like I could eat much more.

Hey, I had my surgery done on 8-19 and I know what you are feeling. It will pass. Make sure you are eating enough protein during the day and that will make it easier. Good luck.

My surgeon recommends 1/2c 5-6 times a day during the mushy stage. I'm not going to say it keeps me full, but it does help knowing I only have to wait a couple hours between "meals" rather than 5 or 6 hours.

Maybe you can talk to your Nut or doc about eating more often than 3x a day during this time.
