Couple of things

I am 3 days post-op and am doing quite well except for diarrhea this afternoon. I am keeping fluids down and am drinking constantly. Anyone else expereince this? Anything to worry about?

I am really hungry and am on clear liquids for another 4 days.

Malt-O-Meal is calling me!!!

I'm fully aware my eating habits will change dramatically.

What I'm wondering is I ever be able to eat a piece of pizza, a salad, a burger or anything yummy like this in the future?

Congrats! I hope you have a speedy recover. I'm getting banded tomorrow...eeek! I'm a bit nervous.

We're in the same boat! I wonder the very same things. LOL

Best wishes to you!

I am recovering quite well and so will you.

Postop diarrhea is very common--I was told to expect it. Not much fun, but nothing to worry about

gracie..i'm sure burgers and pizza will be in our future...but instead of a double quarter pounder we will be able to get a lil cheeseburger instead....tht is what i'm looking forward to..that way i won't 'crave' things i will just have a bite or two. I absolutely love churchs chicken..i could eat 5 pieces in one sitting..now if i were to buy some..I'd get maybe a drumstick. that is a big difference...

i'm 8 days post op and am still on liquids. I get to start 'mushies' on sat...i can't wait!!!
