hysterectomy after surgery

I have had the band now for 1 year. Just found out I need to have a hysterectomy. Worried it will interfer with port or band. Has anyone had to have this done too??? thanks:confused:

    I was banded in August this year and then in September I had a hysterectomy.

    No problems at all. They did say that my band had to be EMPTIED before they would do surgery though and I had to stay on Phenergan the day of and several days after surgery to prevent any nausea/vomiting.

    Between my band and my hysterectomy I feel like a brand new HAPPIER woman!! I feel awesome now!
