Am I stuck?

Just finished eating dinner and think I may have eaten too fast. I feel like somthing is stuck in the back of my throat, and when I stood up I had a burp that almost caused me to throw up. I can still feel it there, should I wait it out or drink some water?

Forgot to mention that I am on the liquified puree diet (mushies) and I had well blended chicken that has gone down fine in the past, and it was fairly watery.

i don't think your stuck when something gets stuck it kinda feels like heartburn and it hurts. what your describing sounds like you ate to fast or too much best just to wait it out don't drink water for a while after that happens but sometimes it helps to sip a little bit. Thats what i did when that happened to me.

It sounds to me as though you have the one-bite-too-many syndrome. For me, it's as uncomfortable as being stuck.

Time takes care of it, though
