I'm scared....

I'm filling out the paperwork to get my band done in January in Mexico. I have enough $$ to pay for the surgery and that is all (I can pay for my transportation for fills). What do i do if I erode or slip? What have other self pay people done? Thanks,.

I was banded in MX 11/17. I was also self pay and have had some of the same worries. The best way I can come to terms with those worries is to figure that I'll cross that bridge if/when I get there.

With all of the recent erosion discussion, I've decided to use this window of an opportunity with my band, and hope for the best. If I have any issue arise, such as erosion, I'll figure out a way to deal with it then. Just like a flat tire. You don't plan for those.
