Did I miss something? Now that we have lap bands are we supposed to be pre medicated before dental treatment like we have patients pre med for mitral valve prolapse? I now that we now have a prothesis in our bodies but it didn't occur to me that pre med is now a protocol to be followed.

Glo, this is a question for your doctor. My surgeon never mentioned this to me at all, but protocols can change and there may be another practice in place now.
