I have had a few pouch dilations in the four years since I have been banded. The bad news is that once your pouch stretches, it can stretch again very easily. The good news is that while it may be annoying for a month to go with an unfill, you can work your way back up to your fill level and fix the problem. My problem is I like to lie down on the couch to relax after eating, and this is a big no no!! Also, I have always wanted to drink with my meals, instead of waiting 30 minutes... So these are things I am working on. If you need a mentor/buddy, I am available and would love to email with support daily. Good luck:)

Wow - this is really helpful advice. Thanks, Petra.

pookie - I have never heard about not laying down after eating. I will have to keep that in mind but I usually don't do it. Also, I have to wait 60min after eating to drink but I was told that drinking while eating just makes the food empty your pouch quicker. They never said anything to me about it stretching your pouch??? News to know....:smile2:
