I will likely have my band done in Mexico. A lot of the packages include airfare. But hello! I am too big to fit in an airplane seat. I imagine most people who need a band are. What do i do? I can't afford 2 seats.

You could see what it costs to upgrade to a 1st class seat, which are bigger than coach seats.

Check out seatguru.com they have different airplanes and their seat sizes which ones are good seats and which ones are really tight. I hope this helps.
