When I got ready to leave the hospital my arm where my IV was was bleeding pretty good and 2 of my incisions were bleeding a bit. So the nurse used this heavy duty tape and taped gauze all over me. I got the tape off now I have all the left behind residue. It's all over my arm and my stomach.

I tried soap and Water and I also tried baby oil. I thought oil might soften it or something but it didn't work.

Any ideas how to get it off easily?

My doctor actually gave me a few wipes today when I was in her office that is used to take off tape residue. Otherwise Im not really sure.

Finger nail polish remover..it works getting the sticky residue off just dont get it in your open wounds cause it might burn

It took me a month to get it all off my stomach!

Alcohol - of the rubbing sort Same way you get price stickers off of glass frames :thumbup:

Rubbing alcohol. Or my Dr said to let it wear off naturally if it was too close to the incisions.
