Anyone else have this problem?

Does anyone out there have the mucous problem? My husband can't seem to swallow excess saliva or even thin mucous build up. After a fill it is even worse...twice now he's had to go back and have the fluid that was just added taken back out because he was unable to keep water down and throws up a ton of mucous with the water. Ideas? Thanks!

Yes this is quite common I think. I always have mucus in mine especially noticable if its just Fluid. My concern for your hubby however, is that perhaps he is tight enough and doesnt need another fill. How much has he got in his band. How much was the fill because it really is a fine line between to tight and sweet, even as little as 0.1 can make a difference.

I think he is at 5.5cc now. He has already lost 110 pounds and I watch him throw back up about 1/2 the food he eats, but then he gets a fill anyway!!! I'm at 6.25cc, but don't throw up anything unless I try to eat too fast. He still thinks he doesn't have enough restriction, but he can only keep 1/2 of what he eats down...I think his restriction is fine and he should start to exercise!!!
