Feeling like a total failure.

I am 9 months out of surgery and have only gone from 267 to 230. I feel like a total failure! I take my protien, but am struggling with eating right and keeping up an exercise routine. I am so fed up with myself right now, any suggestions on what I can do to help get back on track? I am embarassed to say I had weight loss surgery not because I'm afraid people will say I took "the easy way out" (wich it is not) but because I feel like I have not been a success at all with this. Any suggestions much appreciated.

just a suggestin but if you are throwing up a lot and not able to eat good food then your band is either too tight or you are swollen from all the retching.

You should not be feeling like this.

I TOTALLY understand your frustration. I had my band placed in 11/08 and have only lost 40lbs. I am trying so very hard to lose but to no avail. My physician would not do fills for several weeks and sometimes refuses to give them to me saying that I don't understand the concept of the Lap Band. I totally feel you!
