More preop problems

Somebody help get me through today and tomorrow, banding wednesday!!

Last week I just couldnt concentrate and was just nervous, since this past Thursday i cant quit crying about every little thing and everything I eat just goes right through me. My husband told me to call the doctor but I dont want to. I think Im scared he will say maybe we should cancel the surgery for a while.

Hal I hope you read this...i couldnt figure out how to respond to you. Sorry

Hi:

It's quite normal to be anxious before the surgery. Some people have stomach issues when they have anxiety. You're probably on an all liquid diet pre-op, as most people are required to do this diet. If you're only having liquids it's not surprising if everything "goes through you".

Personally, it's the best thing that I ever did for myself. It's so much easier to be carrying less weight.

Best wishes to you.

Thanks Sue, but nooo im not on a liquid diet. My doc didn't put me on a preop diet at all. So, maybe I should switch to liquids today just to see if that helps with the stomach issues. Thanks again, Sherri
