Uh OH!

I am finished with my Thanksgiving and I feel like such a loser! And not in a good way. I feel like I completely over ate. I was banded on 11-1-05 and I am yet to have my first fill. I feel like I could still eat as much as I did before. (I didnt eat as much but definitely more than half a cup!) Have I ruined everything, or is there still hope?

No, you haven't blown it. Still stay on mushies. I thought the same thing until I talked to the nurse. Even the nutritionist said alot of people can't wait to get their 1st fill and are disappointed. I had my 1st fill the end of August. I did notice a difference but still could eat everything I wanted. Got my 2nd fill October 25th. That was a whole different ball game. 1st week I got 4 different things stuck. I learned to listen more to the signs. I am a fast eater and don't chew a whole lot. At least didn't used to. I do now.

I'm 12 days out and feel like I can eat the same as I always did. I'm trying to hold back and stay on the dr's orders but I am very hungry. I am looking forward to my fill because the scale started going up instead of down. The fill is not until Dec 20th. I don't know how I will hold out till then, but I have to. So don't feel alone your not in the boat by yourself. I have read comments like this before. I guess we just have to be strong till our fill dates get here. Try not to overdo and don't forget to excercise.
