  1. I've been wanting to rollerblade the local 19.4 mile rail trail. I rollerbladed the whole thing.
  2. I don't get on too often beause it's summer there is too many things to do outdoors. With working a full time job and a part time job and taking a class. Any other chance I'm out there rollerblading these hips away. Once winter gets there then maybe. Janet
  3. Hi Josette, No I haven't had any problems. I really pay attention during "the week of" thou. If I'm going to PB it will be that week. Sometimes it makes not sense when I pb but usually I know why. Only a month away from a year. Glad 40 lbs is gone. It may be slow but It's my race I'm running. I'm glad it doesn't come back. I thought I would have to go back on the year anniversery to run some tests but he said I'll see you in 2-3 months. I said perfect w/contruction and gas close to $3.00. He is happy with my progress. janet
  4. Hi Trip2beme, No I do not know any of those names. I'm originally from shields but have lived in Merrill for over 11 years. I work in Saginaw. I live about 5 miles out on the country. Sorry late on the reply I don't get on very often. Janet
  5. Hi, I'm from Merrill, MI. I had my surgery at Port Huron Hospital with Dr. Boutt. He is a great doc.
  6. Only thing I had to have was blood work and ECG. Janet
  7. I would have went back in his wallet and took out the $200. Go to the store and pick out what you want.
  8. Michelle, Be persistent. I just read a thread a week ago on this. They should not be ooozing. janet
  9. Erin, I just finished reading your profile. Thank you for sharing. Started reading it at work. Glad I found it tonight to finish reading it. I don't cry a whole lot but just got finished balling my eyes out. I really don't know how you manage to keep that postive attitude. You hang in there. As I looked at those pictures I thought I was going to pass out. I could never be in the medical field. Never really looked into the problems of getting the band just jumped in with both feet. I thank God everyday. So far no complications. I hope you heal fast!! Janet
  10. That is a great idea! :clap2: I keep looking in the posts for recipes. Especially breakfast ideas
  11. I also having been fighting w/the same 2 lbs. I love to workout. It's easier for me to stop everyday at the gym than get out of the habit of going. Got a small fill today. Was 2 cc's now it 2.3 cc's. I looked on the refrigerator where I keep track of my appointments and what I weigh. I realized I had only lost 2 lbs since September:mad:. It was time. Not going back until April to see him.
  12. A half of deviled egg. I thought I was dying. Everyone is different, you just have to be careful and take your time and just chew, chew, chew. There are some things that I just will not ever have again and I don't have a problem w/that. I know that I just need to be a little more patient and remember that I didn't gain it over night and it won't come off overnight. Haven't had a mountain dew since 7/10. Must say I do miss it thou. I do also see some posts that the people have lost alot of weight but are having liquids which are not the lap band rules. :cheeky
  13. Yes, I am exactly where you are. I'm a slow loser I think only have lost 16 lbs since surgery. I got something stuck right after my 2nd fill and am terrified it will happen again. I lose about 1-2 every six weeks. I look at everyone else on this board and think gee I thought it would be 1-2 every week. Thinking I'm failing even though I worked out 4 times a week. Last week I thought I could have eaten the kitchen sink. I have an appointment tomorrow. I think I'm going to have him put in a small fill. I will never again eat what got stuck.
  14. That's really good progress. I was banded in July and I'm losing about 1-2 every 6 weeks. You didn't gain it overnight and you want to tighten it all up as your losing it. It's not GB weight loss. Dr. Boutt tells me it is 1-2 a week but sometimes that not happening and I'm working out 4 days a week. Running my own race;-) Banded July 11th, 2005 surgery 250 now 228
  15. No, you haven't blown it. Still stay on mushies. I thought the same thing until I talked to the nurse. Even the nutritionist said alot of people can't wait to get their 1st fill and are disappointed. I had my 1st fill the end of August. I did notice a difference but still could eat everything I wanted. Got my 2nd fill October 25th. That was a whole different ball game. 1st week I got 4 different things stuck. I learned to listen more to the signs. I am a fast eater and don't chew a whole lot. At least didn't used to. I do now. Janet
