I was in the ER yesterday for several hours with severe abdominal pain. They did a slew of tests and a cat scan and the ER Dr thought it was an infection. My surgeon called me this morning and said none of the tests (blood) had revealed any white blood cell problems, and so he didn't think it was an infection. He is thinking I popped a stitch in my port (it was nearish the port area) and is keeping me on antibiotics (just in case) and pain meds.

Has anyone else experienced this? How long is it going to hurt???
