Newbie from Australia

I have just found this wonderful site. I have not have my lapband yet. I had to wait 12 months for my hospital cover to cover me. I now have a date for my banding 21th July 2010. I am really excited about it.

    Hi Sharon..

    I'm a newbie too, my date is set for the 16th of Aug.

    I would love to talk with some people that have had the band done, and are enjoying good results.

    All I hear is the horror vomiting stories and people having the band removed.

    Hi Nel Congratulations on your date. I am very excited about getting my band. But the same as you its a bit scary reading some of the posts about the pain and the vomiting. Lets hope we dont have any troubles.
