Possible Infection????

Last Friday I was 3 weeks post op and awaiting my first fill next Monday. Yesterday (Sunday) I noticed a small red area about 4 inches below my port site incision. It has continued with redness, swelling and tenderness. I am worried there may be something wrong with my band or maybe that I bumped into something or leaned against my desk and have damaged the band. Just wondering if anyone knows what this might be. I'm thinking I should call my doctor. Any suggestions.

It sounds like an infection on the port site. I recommend going to a doctor and seeing what they think it is. My mom got the redness and swelling and her's turned into a hole.. Just watch out for it.. if a hole starts to form on your tissue where the port is, go to the hospital asap.
