Hoping + wishing :)

Hi guys,

I've reached the stage where having the operation is the last option.

I've got a few consultations booked. But its so scary!

Who do you believe as at the end of the day - its a business to these ppl, so do they really have your best interest at heart?

I've been reading up on different private clinics and there are some real horror stories. :)

But I'm really hoping that it will work, so I can start living my life!!

Scary is the right word. It's a big step but I think, for me anyways, it will be worth it. I have my pre-op/boot camp Thursday and surgery is next Tuesday. The stress is adding up. I'm not worried about the surgery especially since I know my surgeon is good. I'm worried about the big honking IV needle. I'm worried about finding the hospital (it's in a city I haven't been to in 20 years) and I'm worried about my husband taking care of our son the day of surgery especially since he has to take me to the hospital and pick me. We have no babysitter. Everything else will be relatively smooth I think. I know I can do this but it's going to take work and commitment from me.
