2 days post op!

Came home from the hospital yesterday morning. I'm very bloated, and the gas is just now starting to pass.

My husband gives me a "you go girl!" when I do. lol

Today, I'm able to start back on low carb slimfast, sugarfree pudding, sugarfree applesauce and light yogurt.

My question is, do you think small amounts of sugarfree ice cream would be ok?

What else have you been able to tolerate during this stage?

Would love any assistance you can give.

Sugarfree Ice cream is loaded with calories. I would suggest broth, Riccotta or cottage cheese, sugar free ice pops (also help with the swelling).

Oh and CONGRATULATIONS!!

Thank you, I didn't even think of that!

Did your doctor give you a list? I wasn't allowed cottage or ricotta until the mushy stage. The SF pudding, and popsicles more than cured my sweet tooth right after surgery.

Good luck, you will be fine.

Hi I had my band put on june 1st and I have been having Chobani greek yogurt which is really good and I have also been having myoplex protein drinks. My doc told me I can start on the mushy stuff, oh and I also have had like a quarter of a banana. Till now haven't had any problems.

I suggest just trying different things to see what you can tolerate that's what i'm doing.

Hope all goes well.
