I am planning my lap band surgery for June 24th. Any helpful advice?

If you Dr tells you to do a pre op diet, he has a reason, not following it is jeopardizing your health during surgery.

Drink plenty of Water the day before so you wont feel thirsty.

Walking helps with the gas pain.

Follow the post op diet, this helps the band heal in place. Eating too soon can cause problems later.

Don't expect too much until you start getting fills. Until then its going to be all you.

Don't forget to take before pictures, when the scales aren't moving you can refer to these and see changes which will help you stay motivated.

Good luck.
