I was feeling pretty good about my surgery then I read a post where someone was talking about her GI scope. Nobody told me anything about a scope going down my throat. Now Im freaking out. I have always had a fear that someday I would have to have that done. Somebody please tell me that is only for people that have some sort of GI symptoms.:confused:

I had surgery in March, and I have NEVER had that done

I never had one done before or since. If they require one talk to your surgeon about how you feel. It is likely that they can give valium or something to help with the nerves. I am terrified of the dentist and that is what they give me. It is great stuff!! I really helps. It can't hurt to ask!
