Once you had the surgery, how long did it take you to recover and get back to school?

if my surgery approves it, i will want to get mine during the Xmas or spring break holiday.

I got my surgery during the summer break.. I took that semester off.. Not because of the surgery but it was a good time to do it.. I am having to get my port replaced so Im waiting for the Christmas break as well. I think that is the best time to do it.

I was going to take off this semester but decided against. Fortunately I have the option of attending my prgoram in person or virtually, so if needed I'll be able to sit in a nice recliner and do everything I need to do.

Well i'm not a college or grad. student but I was about 2 years ago. I think that today (day 4 after surgery) I could comfortably sit in a lecture based class. As for walking from class to class, walking is good for you so that shouldn't be a problem. Yesterday I was able to go to a friends house and go to a movie at the theater. Everyone is different though Goodluck!

I had mine over last spring break. I started my horseback riding class 3 weeks later. I would have started two weeks later, but I had to have an emergency D&C a week after my banding.

The only trouble I had with my band, other than of course being really, really tired my first week was having difficulty cleaning out the horses' hooves before and after riding them.
