Tummy Aches?!?

Howdy fellow bandsters. So, I'm three weeks post-op and moved to mashed/pureed foods about three days ago. I haven't been very adventurist, just one soft scrambled egg and a little avocado for breakfast, some mashed potatos for lunch and a yogurt for a snack. Last night, I had some hummus and a slice of tomato for dinner and my stomach hurt so badly I almost cried. Today, I had the exact same menu but no dinner yet and my stomach is killing me. I can't tell what it is - I feel fine all day until the evenings. Is it sharp hunger pangs? Is it something I'm eating? I don't have a fill yet so its not a restriction issue.I suppose I should add I've been consuming a lot of benefiber because I'm not having proper bowel movements. Its been 18 days and I can't seem to go. Maybe the additional fiber is the problem? I would welcome any thoughts. Thanks!!!

it might have something to do with the fact you haven't had a bowel movement. The first day I ate an egg I didn't have any trouble. I would call your doctor tomorrow and ask, and maybe describe where the pain is in your stomach, and has it been constant after you eat?

I haven't felt anything like this, but maybe other bandsters have.

Good luck!
