Back to Normal?

When will my body feel like mine again. I am used to using my abdominal muscles to hold in some of my stomach, when can I do that again. And when does the bruising and tenderness go away? Can everyone feel their port?

I felt banged-up for about 10 days---after that, it was business as usual

(Exercise restrictions were not lifted until 4 weeks, though--you do have to be careful how much you use your abdominals until you've had your postop check.)
