Is this normal? (TMI)

Since I have good restriction and I am eating less food, I only get bowel movement once every 2-3 days which is very unusual for me because I used to go daily. My question is, is this normal after getting restriction and after you start eating less food? Please let me know. Do you think I need a stool softener to go daily? Thanks in advance.

Less food going in means less food coming out. It's very normal. I only go every 2-3 days myself. You shouldn't need a stool softener unless you are constipated.

Yes, it's normal for bowel habits to change when eating habits change.

If you're not uncomfortable in between, I wouldn't worry about it at all; there's simply less that needs to exit
