Day 7, started regular shakes....full? WTH?

Ok, just odd to me, but I just finished my clears only diet, Dr only asked me to do 5 days. Then back to regular liquids. But here is my question....

Why am I getting stuffed on 1/2 cup of cream of potato. strained and served. And I MEAN STUFFED!

I thought I had no restriction? Just curious.....

The same thing happened to me. I believe that there is swelling around the site of the band which causes this restriction. Plus when you don't eat for a while you "shrink" your stomach so to speak and get full on less. I have read many posts where people say that this does go away (which most wish it didn't)

I had this kind of swelling restriction until the last 4 days. I am 5 weeks since I was banded. Had my first fill today since I was starting to feel hungry in 2-3 hours rather than 5 hours. It has been wonderful having restriction with no fill yet. I have lost 14 pounds in 5 weeks since surgery and lost 23 before surgery. It is great!:smile2:
