I'm Broken Hearted

After an agonizing 10 days on a pre op diet of nothing but liquids, my surgery has been postponed. Instead of May 6th, it's going to be June 3rd. My Cardiac Clearence didn't come though. I couldn't get in to see my cardiologist till May 13th.

I was so dissapointed! I'll have to do this pre op diet all over again. I'm going to start it on May 7th, in case they get a cancellation after May 13th.

Oh I am sorry to hear about your delay! Mine was delayed too for cardiac clearance (I had to do a nuclear stress test). In the end I kind of enjoyed having a few extra weeks to prepare... Don't worry it will pass and you will be reassured that your heart can handle the stress of surgery!

I, too am sorry for the delay. Something similar happened to me and it was a bummer. I think you are smart to restart your preop diet so you are ready if they get a cancellation.

Best wishes,

Mimi

I am so sorry for your hurt, but everything happens for a reason. I admire your determination. You are going to have a wonderful success.

Regards

Hal

That sucks. But honestly, we can do anything for a short amount of time if we really want to do it! You'll do fine. Good luck!
