Prevpac

My doctor's office called me and put me on a two week prevpac - a lot of antibiotics - for a stomach bacteria. I was wondering if anyone else had this treatment and what your experience was? I googled it and I read about some bad side effects.

I've actually been on that twice and didn't have any bad side effects. I loved it only because I suffered from horrible acid reflux and it helped with that. It's to treat H. pylori bacteria. One of the causes of stomach cancer if gone untreated. I wouldn't worry about it. It's not big deal

Thank you Amy!! That makes me feel better. Yesterday was the first night and I made the mistake of taking the meds on a full stomach right before bed. BAD IDEA!! I was up all night with acid reflux coughing and it was a really bad taste. I will be smarter tonight.
