I'm at Day 3 post-op, and I get pretty drastic hiccups every time I have to swallow a pill (I take 6 in the morning and 2 at night, related to blood pressure). I'm sipping the bare minimum of water every time, and the pills aren't big. Please say this goes away, or there's a solution. I can't swallow a sugar pack anymore to get rid of them anymore, and can't take 10 gulps of water. Pretty painful, too.

I think ther are a couple of signals to warn us that we are getting close to full. Hiccups and the watering of my is the second one the third is the tightness in my chest , this last one is not one you want to get. it can get very painful if a foodpiece went down not chewed up quite enough. Been bande over 2 yrs. So I recognize these pretty quick , it just varies betweent he runny eyes and nose then the hiccups. but if you keep puttin more food in, STOP THEN , IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE FOR THOSE NEXT BITES....
