Help! Having MAJOR second thoughts....

Hi everyone... I am nearly at the point of getting my surgery date. have jumped through all the hoops.... and NOW... after 6 months of talking, going to meetings.... researching.... I am having major second thoughts about having a silicon band permanently inside me.... forever. And my second fear.... is what if I fail at THIS? I've been reading posts about people having stalled weight loss etc... and I guess I'm just afraid of yet another weight loss failure.

Any one else have these thoughts or feelings???

Hope I'm not putting anyone off with being this honest... don't mean to scare anyone... just need some support.

Thanks

Tracy

Hello Tracy,

I am right there with you I keep saying do I want to do this or should I give it one more try. I hate the thought of constantly obsessing over my food choices and weight, I like the thought of the band being my inner friend who reminds me to make better choices. I am the same age as you and it is hard for me to loose weight plus I find it even harder to stay motivated because of that. So I am letting my doubts and fears work their way around and in the end if I feel I would rather not do it than I will say so, but talk and pray that should help.
