New kid on the block

Hello, my name is Daphne and I have not had the lap band yet, I had my third dietician appointment today, the next step is approval by my insurance company. I was told that I should have the surgery before the end of May. I'm excited and I'm a little nervous because I don't want to fail at this. I have dreamed of being smaller for a very long time.

I weigh 234 lbs, and my BMI is 39, I guess my greatest fear is the food getting stuck in my throat, other than that, oh yeah and finding out which foods to prepare for myself since my husband does all the cooking.

Please pray for me.

Thanks!

Hi It's nice to meet you! I'm actually getting my surgery on April 20th! I'm terrified! I've dreamed of this day for so long that it seems surreal! Keep me updated as to your appointments. We can do this!!!
