I am almost 5 weeks post-op, and I am still experiencing a fair amount of pain. It's not the incisions, or at the port, so I'm getting worried that it's never going to go away or that there's something wrong.

It can be a sharp pain, sometimes triggered by something (e.g., if I slouch) and sometimes completely out of the blue. It seems unrelated to whether I have an empty stomach or have just eaten, etc. I've had only one fill so far, so I don't have much restriction just yet. Could I be over-eating and just don't know it? Or is it just that my body is still healing?

Where is the pain and how long does it last?

It's a couple of inches below my incision/port site, a couple of inches above my belly button, and about 5 inches (to my) right of my belly button.

It's hard to say how long it lasts. The severe pain lasts only a second or two at a time, but the painful periods like this lasts hours and hours (almost constant)...

I think I'd call the surgeon. I'm 5 weeks out and pain free.
