Rebanded 03/23/2010

Hello, my name is Effie and I am 6 days post-op.

I had my original band put on 5/30/2003 and lost 110 pounds. Due to an illness in 2008 I was put on prednesone, which I am still taking. I regained 50 pounds.

After developing a hiatal hernia and acid reflux I needed surgery and my doctor had to replace my band, so I am considering myself a NEWBIE! It was so long ago that I had the first band put in, I have forgotten a lot and a lot of stuff has changed, so I will need everyone's help adjusting again.

Thanks,

Effie

Welcome to LBT. I am so glad you were able to get a new band. It won't be long now and you will be dropping those pounds again!

welcome back to banded living. We're all here to help and cheer you on! I was banded in 2006, and it's clear that there is just so much more we now know about how to work the tool. You were a real pioneer in 2003. I'm here to help!
