I had my first fill Monday. My doc only put 1cc in my 10cc band. He didn't put anything in during the surgery. I'm a little worried about not feeling the restriction either. He said everybody is different and some people may need 5 fills, whereas some will only need 2. He will only fill once per month, so I'm hoping to feel restriction soon.

This is when you really need patience. Some docs are ultra conservative so you either have to just be patient, or find another doc. My doc is also banded, don't have a clue if that makes any difference at all, but he is aggressive with fills. After reading these posts, I was shocked when he said he put in 2cc the first time. I only have a 4cc band. I loved it though, and I now have 2.75cc. I also love this. The docs are mostly protecting themselves. It is understandable with all the sue happy people out there. You may need many fills or maybe 2 or 3. I hope you get restriction soon. Hugs.....
